Everything below about Le-Scape comes from le-scape.com, read on 2026-09-15. Nothing here characterises them from memory, and no claim is made about their work that they do not publish themselves.
Which company should I use for turf on the Emerald Coast?
Start with the size of the job you are actually buying.
If the project is turf, ForeverLawn Emerald Coast is a dealer for a single manufacturer and installs that manufacturer’s product lines only. The catalogue is narrow on purpose: more than 20 grasses, each built for a use, with a line for dogs, a line for playgrounds, a line for golf and a line for sport.
If the project is the whole outdoor space, Le-Scape publishes pavers and hardscapes, landscape design with 3D renderings, plantings, sports courts, in ground trampolines, low voltage lighting, irrigation and mosquito misting alongside its turf work.
Neither answer is better in the abstract. They are answers to different questions.
What turf does each company install?
| ForeverLawn Emerald Coast | Le-Scape |
|---|
| Turf brand | ForeverLawn, as a dealer | SYNLawn, as published on their site |
| Range | More than 20 products across five lines | Turf by application: lawn, pool and patio, putting green, commercial, pet |
| Pet product | K9Grass, no infill, knitted flow through backing, Alphasan antimicrobial | Pet safe turf, described as durable, drainable and non toxic |
| Backing | Knitted Flow Through Backing on K9Grass | Plant based, sugarcane derived backing, as published |
| Other trades | Turf installation | Hardscapes, lighting, irrigation, plantings, courts |
How do the warranties compare?
ForeverLawn Emerald Coast publishes two: 15 years on premium ForeverLawn products, and 24 months on the installation work itself. The second one matters more than it sounds, because workmanship is what fails first on a turf job.
Le-Scape publishes a limited lifetime warranty on the SYNLawn product it installs.
A lifetime product warranty and a 15 year product warranty are both worth reading in full before either is compared. Neither company publishes the terms on the page that advertises them, so ask both for the document.
Which one is better for a dog yard?
This is the clearest split of the two, because only one of them installs a grass engineered for dogs rather than a grass sold as suitable for them.
K9Grass, which ForeverLawn Emerald Coast installs, uses no infill at all, drains edge to edge through a knitted backing, and carries Alphasan antimicrobial inside the blades. Blades are short and dense so waste is easy to find and lift. Le-Scape publishes pet safe turf as one of six turf applications and describes it as durable, drainable and non toxic.
The pet turf page goes through what the no infill construction actually changes when a dog lives on it.
Do both companies cover Destin and Fort Walton Beach?
Yes, and their published areas overlap across most of the coast.
Le-Scape lists Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Perdido Key, Navarre and Pace on the panhandle, then Destin, Miramar Beach, Sandestin, Niceville, Fort Walton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach and the 30A towns.
ForeverLawn Emerald Coast covers the entire Emerald Coast from Pensacola to Tallahassee, plus lower Alabama, and is based in Fort Walton Beach. The service area page has the address and hours.
Who is behind each company?
Both are local. ForeverLawn Emerald Coast launched in Fort Walton Beach in 2017 and operates as part of ForeverLawn, Inc., which gives a small local crew a national manufacturer’s product range and installation method behind it. Le-Scape publishes that it is local and family owned, with more than 45 five star reviews.
Does buying from a dealer change anything?
It changes where the product comes from and who stands behind it. ForeverLawn Emerald Coast installs what one manufacturer makes, so the grass, the backing and the warranty all trace to the same place, and the crew installs the same product lines every week.
A landscape firm that installs turf among several trades buys its grass from a supplier and fits turf between other work. That is an advantage when the job is a whole yard and a disadvantage when the job is only grass.
What should I ask both companies?
Four questions, and they work on any installer on this coast.
What is the base build under the turf. How does the area drain. What is warranted, the product or the workmanship, and for how long. Who is actually on site doing the install.
Answers to those separate quotes better than a square foot price does, which is the argument the cost page makes at length.
Questions we get asked
Is one cheaper than the other?
Neither publishes prices, and both quote after seeing the space. A turf only quote and a quote that includes hardscape, lighting or planting are not comparable figures.
Can ForeverLawn Emerald Coast do my pavers too?
No. Turf installation is the work. Where a project needs hardscape, lighting or planting, that comes from another trade, and the turf is scheduled around it.
Why compare against this company and not a national brand?
Because on the Emerald Coast this is the comparison buyers actually make. National brands appear in search results, but the quotes that land next to each other on a kitchen table are usually local.
Where did these facts come from?
le-scape.com and foreverlawnec.com, both read on 2026-09-15. Where a company does not publish something, it is left out rather than estimated.
Want a real number for your own yard?
The consultation is free. Someone comes out, measures the space, talks through which turf suits how you use it, and the written quote follows from that.
